Patricia at Reverie is hosting today and has a great post about the National Writing Project WRITE OUT and its theme: AWAKEN THE SENSES.
It will be a tad too wet and blustery for me to take a wonder walk this weekend but I plan to do so soon.
www.hsa-haiku.orgLast Saturday, I attended the local chapter of the Haiku Society of America. It was really great to reconnect, especially someone who posts a "daily ku" on Facebook. I don't know it was but the switch snapped on and I have had a great week of daily writing. So today sharing what I have written.
Plus a week ago Friday, I led a "Spooky Poe-try" Workshop with local people. I'll share more next week when I host.

Brava for your daily write, Jone! I love your short form/haiku. It's a perfect way to capture moments in a day. I've been using origami to begin my mornings and then write a companion poem. I love how it allows me time to gather myself. Now I want to learn how to use padlets and sharing on the posts the way you have. I loved "playing" and reading the daily poems. Looking forward to next week!

I like the snake-taillight drawing with your freeway poem, Jone. I ran into your art in the wild the other day! I was looking at Asterales poetry journal and your raven art was there. Very fun!
