What is Poetry Friday?

Poetry Friday began in about 2007 by Kelly Herold. It is a weekly gathering of poets, teachers, and poetry lovers. Contributors share a variety of posts:  poems, new books, favorites, student work, anything that is poetry related. The community takes turns hosting the poetry round-up as a central place for links. It’s a terrific way to start the weekend.
