oooooh! How wonderful the lake from NY and the shiny penny from Ohio. I love the postcard exchange. And, I'm thankful that you organize it. What a lovely thought...the full moon making poetry wishes. And, your gallic is sounding good! Happy New Year, Jone! 1/1/2021 07:30:18 am
Thank you for sharing both Carol's and Mary Lee's postcard treats, Jone! And for your Scottish Gaelic poetry reading. Brava! :) 1/1/2021 07:31:33 am
I didn't know you were taking these language lessons, Jone. That is a special challenge for sure! Beautifully done! I've started to receive the cards, too, a blessing in the mail! Thank you, and Happy New Year to you & yours!

Lovely poem Jone, sounds so peaceful, thanks for this gift on a very snowy, dark, blustery Chicago day… Happy New Year!

Having lived for five years in Scotland and learned a wee bit of Gaelic myself - just a WEE bit, mind - it was especially lovely to hear you read. Well done to you! Happy Hogmanay! 1/1/2021 03:11:04 pm

Oh, Jone, you KNOW how this post makes my heart sing!!! LOVED hearing your read your wonderful original poem. It's going to take me a good while to catch up with you, but you are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing both lovely postcards, too, and for organizing the swap - I've received a couple already as well, and just got something I ordered so that I can get mine out. ;0) Bliadhna mhath ùr!
