Thanks to Michelle at Today’s Little Ditty for hosting Poetry Friday today. Head there for a peek at Nikki Grime’s new book, Southwest Sunrise. And check out last Friday’s post featuring Margaret Simon and #poemsofpresence.
I stumbled onto #poemsofpresence through Michelle Kogan’s Facebook post earlier this week. Being present is what I need now. Last Friday, a totally unplanned opportunity was given to us. A downstairs end condo was going on the market and we had first dibs at it. Instead of responding to Poetry Friday posts, I packed 60 boxes in preparation for staging our condo to sell. fourteen steps husband turns seventy time to move ©jone rush macculloch (2020, draft) packing up so many boxes downsize time- again ©jone rush macculloch (2020, draft) morning song red winged blackbird visitor ©jone rush macculloch (2020, draft) #poemsofpresence
