Happy Book Birthday, Imperfect II. Thank you Tabatha Yeatts for editing and encouraging people to submit. So excited to be a part of this collection. Anthologies for the MG audience, 5th-9th grades, are limited.

Congratulations on your poem in Imperfect II! Yay, to Alana's lizard poem! It's hard enough to write the words of a concrete poem on paper, then to type the words on the computer without messing it up must have been extremely difficult. I absolutely love the video you made of Monochromatic Poetry by Mrs. Erison's fifth grade class! The collages of their chosen colors on a white background with their detailed poems on the right surrounded by a black background looks so professional! Wow, what a great effect! The kids must be happy about their work being presented in your video and Mrs. Ericson and you must be proud of them. Wonderful job, Jone! Thank you for sharing joy, inspiration, fun, and creativity.

Loving that pink poem. What lucky students when you are the substitute teacher. Happy poem-ing! 4/3/2022 06:30:17 am
Lots of goodness here, Jone. What fun those fifth graders must have had with you when writing. And the concrete poem is really great. Thanks for all! 4/5/2022 02:59:16 am
Pardon my so-late comment, Jone! Imperfect II is going to be big, I think! Thanks for featuring it and the prize...but what I really love is those collages and color poems. WOW! 4/16/2022 04:45:47 pm
What fun! I love the concrete poem by Alana. That is one good lizard, made with text. Amazing! 4/28/2022 05:55:37 pm
Jone, It only took me several weeks to read this post that is fabulous with a concrete poem, an amazing video filled with monochromatic collage poems. Would that class and teacher be willing to let me show their video at my Poetryliscious Gallery that honors creative talents during NPM22 Month? Let me know, please. Comments are closed.
