Welcome to Poetry Friday. Only Two more Fridays after today in 2022. Karen at Karen Edmisten*.
Today I have a collaboration with Linda Mitchell. We shared pieces with one another for Spark 53. ![]() Dreams In Between By Jone Rush MacCulloch Letters are small angels flying in between — Anne Wynne, from “Letters are Small Angels” The queen dreams of letters, written by cardinals in deep winter. Are words written by the divine lost? Small messages from everyday angels found tucked in each envelope. I am flying in the alleyways, a queen in rainbow wings, delivering letters and dreams in between. Last Call for 2023 New Year Postcards

As I said over at Linda's blog -- you two are the BEST spark partners ever. So fun that you have found a kindred creativity spirit!! 12/17/2022 05:08:35 am
You and Linda each have wonderful partner, making the sparks fly! :D 12/17/2022 05:10:24 am
Oops, I meant to say, "each have a wonderful partner" — typos, ugh! Lol! :)

You and Linda are so well matched with style and character of your work. Your golden shovel matches perfectly her collage. I love this imaginative rainbow angel queen.

Jone, your poem and artwork are beautiful! Your poem delivered goosebumps and joy to me. Your whole poem spoke to me. Your first two lines, "The queen dreams of letters, written by cardinals in deep winter," quickly hooked me. Then your last three lines, "a queen in rainbow wings, delivering letters and dreams/ in between." wrapped your poem with ribbon in a bow for me. Beautiful imagery and I love your idea of angels writing messages from the Divine and a queen in rainbow wings delivering them. I think many people would enjoy your poem! Perhaps, you should submit it somewhere. Thank you for sharing and your inspiration. Comments are closed.
